Art Deco Design for Console Table

I designed this art deco console table as a sculptural piece for this hall art gallery and to function as extra serving space for the dining room opposite.

Artwork Displayed

The foyer entrance to the living room has a Tibetan rug of dense pile in a gray color to contrast with the oyster-white sisal of the living room. Colors are all in cinq. I introduced the clients to the work of many artists in their studios. Several works were selected which have become their prize possessions.

Designing a Reception Desk

A major requirement for the design of this reception desk was that papers the secretary was working on remain out of view of people entering this law office. Rosettes of stainless steel are a classical embellishment to the beautiful mahogany wood. Colorful abstract art was selected to amuse and interest the visitors.

Lighting a Gallery Entrance Hall

Recessed accent lighting was installed to show off the paintings of Dutch landscape though the interesting sconce looks like the main light source. Even, bright lighting was accomplished with special accent recessed lighting spaced so that no shadows are cast.
