Focal Point of Kitchen

The cove lighting accents the design of the tile backsplash scene which becomes the attractive focal point in the kitchen and gives strong task lighting over the cooktop.

Lighting a Kitchen

Kitchens need a lot of light for the many tasks to be done. Under cabinet lighting and accent lighting the ceramic tile scene for the backsplash over the countertop range create focal points for this windowless kitchen. The oval-shaped island is strongly lit for tasks using a chandelier of a trio of pendants to give the light needed and highlighting the beautiful green granite of the countertop.

Lighting a Gallery Entrance Hall

Recessed accent lighting was installed to show off the paintings of Dutch landscape though the interesting sconce looks like the main light source. Even, bright lighting was accomplished with special accent recessed lighting spaced so that no shadows are cast.

Lighting the Architectural Planes of the Ceiling

Using a versatile floor lamp the interesting planes of the ceiling are hightlighted. The lighting highlights the varied tints of wall color chosen to enhance the interesting planes of the ceiling.

Master Bath

Most important in the bathroom is adequate lighting. Using wall sconces on either side of a mirror over the vanity eliminates shadows on the face. These sconces use special fluorescent tubes that match the reflected warm lighting of incandescants. Recessed halogen lights give ambient lighting and sparkle to the travertine countertops and beautifullly grained squares of wood paneling.

Puzzle Lighting

Lighting the foyer between the back door and the garage is a friendly large globe pendant made of balsa wood put together like a puzzle. It might light mail on the table. The scroll design metal base under the table top is enough decor to grab your eye.
